Tura, July 14: The Second Division of the Tura Football League (TFL) 2026-27 season continued its high-scoring momentum on Monday with two thoroughly one-sided matches played at the Government Boys’ Higher Secondary School (GBHSS) Playground in Chandmary, Tura. Both fixtures witnessed absolute dominance on the field as Morning FC and Dakopgre YSCC registered massive victories against their respective opponents.
Morning FC vs Megonggre SSC
In the first match of the day, Morning FC put on a clinical performance to secure a commanding 7-0 victory over Megonggre SSC. Akash Rabha was the star of the evening, netting four spectacular goals for his side, striking in the 19th, 51st, 56th, and 68th minutes. Thronebirth G. Momin added to Megonggre’s defensive woes by completing a fine brace with goals in the 53rd and 66th minutes. Second-half substitute Jack Ch. Marak put the final touch on the clean sheet, scoring in the 76th minute to complete the 7-0 rout.
Dakopgre YSCC vs Nikwatgre SC
The goal-fest seamlessly carried over into the second fixture as Dakopgre YSCC completely outclassed Nikwatgre SC with a staggering 8-1 win. Dakopgre opened their account early through Tengsil Ch Momin in the 13th minute, who later went on to close the game with his second strike in the 79th minute. Bebeon Chejring M Marak was equally lethal in the first half, scoring twice in the 19th and 37th minutes, while Silnang Sangma chipped in with a goal in the 21st minute.
Dakopgre sustained their relentless pressure well into the second half as Balkim A Sangma struck in the 42nd minute, followed by quick successive goals from Silko A Sangma in the 44th minute and Fringgo K Sangma in the 53rd minute. Nikwatgre SC managed to pull one back through a solitary consolation goal by Billyat R Marak in the 57th minute, but it proved to be a mere footnote in Dakopgre’s dominant display.
