Tura, June 30: Day 6 of the ongoing Tura Football League (TFL) 2026-27 Second Division, organized by the District Football Association (DFA), delivered a massive spectacle as a total of 17 goals were scored across two highly entertaining fixtures on Monday at the Government Boys’ Higher Secondary School (GBHSS) Playground in Chandmary, Tura.
Hill View edge past Dobol Lake by 5-3
The first encounter saw Hill View outlast a resilient Dobol Lake FC squad to secure a thrilling 5–3 victory. Hill View’s Senganchu Sangma stole the limelight with a masterful hat-trick, converting clinical opportunities in the 17th, 37th, and 70th minutes of play. His efforts were well-supported by Chekam Marak, who struck a brace with goals in the 38th and 48th minutes to keep Hill View firmly in the lead.
Dobol Lake FC mounted a strong fightback in the second half, showcasing great character on the pitch. Chengrik Ch Marak scored two superb goals in the 55th and 75th minutes, while Pingkush Ch Sangma found the back of the net in the 79th-minute mounting pressure on their opponent but fell short by the final whistle.
The game also saw several disciplinary cautions where Hill View’s Salchang M Sangma and Rangkam D Marak received yellow cards in the 47th and 65th minutes respectively, alongside Dobol Lake’s Noneng Ch Marak who was cautioned in the 53rd minute.
Do•kaku FC defeat Ambri A•ding CYC by 7-2
The second match of the day turned into a dominant show as Do•kaku FC thrashed Ambri A•ding CYC by 7–2. Do•kaku FC controlled the proceedings from the opening whistle, breaking through the defense early when Lawnush Marak found the net in the 11th minute.
Marcelo Sangma delivered an impressive brace with goals in the 16th and 45th minutes, while Bolin Marak extended the advantage in the 24th minute. Jonent Marak tore through the opposition’s defense with two swift goals in the 26th and 29th minutes, before Ritul Hajong put the final victory goal in the 78th minute.
Ambri A•ding CYC fought back to salvage pride through Jebear A Sangma, who managed to score twice in the 54th and 72nd minutes but failed to close the massive score gap made by their opponent and suffered a five goal loss.
Tuesday will see action in both the First and Second Divisions. The early kick-off at 1:00 PM will see Sesengpara YCC go head-to-head against Mandagre YC in Second Division Group G encounter. In the First Division, Danakgre YC is scheduled to lock horns with Dadenggre YC at 3:00 PM.
