Netball is a team sport played between two sides of seven players, with the objective of scoring goals by passing the ball and shooting it through a ring mounted on a post. Players cannot run with the ball and must pass it to teammates to move it down the court. The sport emphasises teamwork, coordination, agility and accurate passing, with specific positions assigned to players and restrictions on movement in different areas of the court.
