Tura, July 19: Rongkhon Sporting produced a commanding display to defeat West Balalgre 4-0 in the Super Division, while Achapara Balmikka outscored Dalu United 4-2 in an entertaining First Division encounter as the Tura Football League (TFL) 2026-27 continued on Saturday.
Rongkhon Sporting too strong for West Balalgre
At the P.A. Sangma Football Stadium in Dakopgre, Rongkhon Sporting secured an emphatic 4-0 victory over West Balalgre.
Riverland Mylliem broke the deadlock just before halftime, scoring in the 44th minute to hand Rongkhon Sporting a deserved lead.
The advantage doubled immediately after the restart when Eska Sangma found the net in the 46th minute. Sengrang Sangma extended the lead in the 68th minute before Randeep Khakalary completed the scoring with an 80th-minute strike to seal a comfortable win.
Achapara Balmikka overcome Dalu United
At the GBHSS Playground in Chandmary, Achapara Balmikka defeated Dalu United 4-2 in the First Division.
Nikrang Sangma starred for the winners with a first-half brace in the 24th and 38th minutes, while Eltish Sangma added another in the 30th minute.
Dalu United stayed in contention through goals from Dikki M. Marak (36′) and Rangkram T. Sangma (51′). But Brening Marak’s goal in the 80th minute put the result in favour of Achapara Balmikka beyond doubt.
