Tura, July 18: The Second Division fixtures of the Tura Football League (TFL) 2026-27 delivered plenty of excitement on Saturday, with Hill View recording a convincing victory over Ambri A•ding while Dobol Lake and Do•kaku shared the spoils in a dramatic 8-goal draw.
Hill View blank Ambri A•ding
Hill View eased to a 4-0 win over Ambri A•ding in the morning fixture at the GBHSS Playground.
Carry John Ch. Sangma opened the scoring in the 17th minute before Nahum T. Sangma struck twice, in the 28th and 70th minutes. Jakkram Ch. Marak also got on the scoresheet with a goal in the 60th minute as Hill View completed a comprehensive victory.
Dobol Lake, Do•kaku play out eight-goal thriller
The afternoon fixture produced one of the most entertaining matches of the season as Dobol Lake and Do•kaku battled to a thrilling 4-4 draw.
Pingkush Sangma starred for Dobol Lake with a hat-trick, scoring in the 5th, 75th and 79th minutes, while Tengchong Marak added another in the 18th minute.
Do•kaku mounted an impressive second-half comeback after trailing, with Jonent Marak scoring in the 47th minute before netting a dramatic equaliser in the 80th minute. Ritul Hajong (59′) and Nokbirth Marak (60′) also found the net as Do•kaku recovered to earn a share of the points.
