Shillong, July 16: Seila Sap FCC booked their place in the final of the SSA U-20 Fourth Division Football League 2026 after defeating Weilyngkut Area FCC 3-1 in the second semi-final at the SSA Ground in Polo on Wednesday.
A brace from Leo F. Marbaniang (23’, 62’) and a late strike by Mebaniohnam Lyngdoh (72’) guided Seila Sap FCC to a comfortable victory.
Leo handed Seila Sap FCC the lead in the 23rd minute before doubling the advantage shortly after the hour mark with his second goal in the 62nd minute, putting his side firmly in control of the contest.
Weilyngkut Area FCC attempted a comeback when Sengrak Sangma pulled one back in the 70th minute to reduce the deficit to 2-1. However, their hopes were short-lived as Mebaniohnam Lyngdoh restored Seila Sap FCC’s two-goal cushion just two minutes later, finding the net in the 72nd minute to seal the result.
Seila Sap FCC will face Mawpdang SC in the final on July 18 at 3:30 pm at the SSA Ground, with the winners set to lift the SSA U-20 Fourth Division Football League 2026 trophy.
