Tura, July 1: Mandagre Youth Club (YC) produced a clinical attacking display to rout Sesengpara Youth Cultural Club (YCC) 7-1 in a Tura Football League 2026-27 Second Division match at the GBHSS Playground in Chandmary on Tuesday.
Mandagre stamped their authority on the contest from the opening whistle, taking the lead in the seventh minute through Jimnen Sangma. Chiongrak M. Sangma doubled the advantage in the 19th minute before Salgam Ch. Marak added a third in the 39th. Chiongrak struck again a minute later to hand Mandagre a commanding 4-0 lead at the break.
Sesengpara YCC pulled one back in the 56th minute through Waimong D. Momin, but any hopes of a comeback were short-lived as Chiongrak completed his hat-trick with a goal in the 58th minute to restore Mandagre’s four-goal cushion.
Mandagre maintained their attacking momentum in the closing stages, with Digrik Marak making it 6-1 in the 68th minute before Jimnen rounded off the scoring with his second goal of the afternoon in the 70th minute, sealing an emphatic 7-1 victory.
