Shillong, June 16: The Shillong Sports Association (SSA) has released the fixtures for the knockout stages of the ongoing 4th Division U-20 Football Tournament, with the pre-quarterfinal matches scheduled to begin on June 20.
A total of 12 teams have qualified for the pre-quarterfinal stage, with matches set to be played at the SSA Ground and MFA Ground. The teams have been divided into four pools for the pre-quarterfinals. Pool 1 comprises Them Rangskhem SC, Mawnianglah Youth SC and Iatylli Sports & CC. Pool 2 features Mawpdang Sports Club, Golfling SC and New Challenger FC. Pool 3 includes Weilyngkut Area F.C.C, Thynroit Sports & CC and the second-placed team from Group F. Pool 4 consists of Nongkseh United FC, Phir Kurbah M. SS&CC and Seila SAP F&CC.
The first pre-quarterfinal will be played between Them Rangshken SC and Mawnianglah Youth SC at 1 pm at the SSA Ground, while Mawpdang Sports Club will face New Challenger FC at 4 pm at the same venue. The third match of the day will see Weilyngkut Area FC going against Thynroit Sports & CC at 4 pm at the MFA Ground.
There will be only one match on June 22, which will see Nongkseh United FC go against Phir Kurbah M. SS&CC at 4 pm at the SSA Ground.
On June 26, two matches will be played, both as the SSA Ground. Thereafter, matches will be played on June 27, July 3, July 4,
The quarterfinals will be held from July 6 to July 9. The semi-finals will be held on July 13 and 14 while the final has been scheduled for July 18 at SSA Ground.
