Tura, July 25: The quarterfinal stage of the Tura Football League 2026-27 Second Division concluded on Saturday at the Government Boys Higher Secondary School playground in Chandmary, with Seltang Football Club and Dakopgre Youth Sports and Cultural Club securing the final two spots in the semifinals. Meanwhile, a high-stakes Super Division fixture at the P. A. Sangma Football Stadium in Dakopgre saw Boca Juniors pull off a dramatic second-half comeback against Chipakore Football Club.
At the GBHSS playground, Seltang Football Club booked their place in the final four with a thrilling 4–2 victory over Morning Football Club. Bilju Momin got Seltang off to a flying start in the 18th minute, before forward Lambai A. Sangma took charge, finding the back of the net in the 32nd and 40th minutes to give Seltang a comfortable 3–0 advantage at hhalf-time

Morning FC mounted a strong fightback in the second period as Tesan R. Marak pulled one back in the 57th minute and Mitilson M. Sangma scored in the 72nd minute to reduce the gap. However, Lambai completed his hat-trick in the 80th minute, putting the game beyond reach for Morning FC.
In the second quarterfinal of the day, Dakopgre Youth Sports and Cultural Club delivered a dominant first-half performance to defeat Mandagre Youth Club by 3–0. Balkim A. Sangma opened the scoring for Dakopgre in the 16th minute, and Tengsil Ch. Momin doubled the advantage just three minutes later in the 19th minute mark. Justwell M. Sangma struck in the 33rd minute to ensure Dakopgre YSCC cruised into the next round with a clean sheet.

With the quarterfinal round officially wrapped up, the Second Division now transitions into the semifinals, set to take place on July 28 at the GBHSS playground in Chandmary. The first semifinal will see Chada United Sports Association go head-to-head against Chitoktak Youth Club, followed by the second semifinal clash between Seltang Football Club and Dakopgre Youth Sports and Cultural Club.
Boca Juniors vs Chipakkore FC

Over at the P. A. Sangma Football Stadium in Dakopgre, Super Division action saw Boca Juniors claim a hard-fought 2–1 victory over Chipakkore Football Club. Chipakkore FC held the upper hand in the opening forty-five minutes after Balthu M. Marak broke the deadlock in the 26th minute setting up a 1-0 lead by half time.
Boca Juniors regrouped after the break and equalized through Simsrang Sangma in the 74th minute. Just as the match appeared headed for a draw, Silcheng Sangma produced a last-gasp winner in the 90th minute with a beautiful free kick goal right outside the D-box to seal all three points for Boca Juniors.
