Tura, June 27: Day 4 of the Second Division matches of Tura Football League (TFL) 2026-27 saw a flurry of goals across both fixtures on Friday, with Chitoktak YC and Ashugre SYC displaying clinical performances to outclass their respective opponents. Individual performances by Tangkam and Mohandas were the highlight of their respective matches.
Chitoktak Youth Club vs Mrigre Youth Welfare Club
In the first match of the day, Chitoktak YC registered a commanding 4-0 victory over Mrigre YWC. Chitoktak YC took control early in the game after winning the toss and drew first blood in the 25th minute when Tangkam found the back of the net in the first half to give his side a 1-0 lead going into the break.

Chitoktak YC sustained their offensive pressure in the second half, adding three more goals to completely take the game away from Mrigre. Donebi doubled the lead in the 50th minute, followed by a second strike from Tangkam in the 67th minute. Tangkam completed a stellar performance by netting his third goal of the match in the 87th minute to seal the 4-0 win for Chitoktak and lock-in a superb hat-trick.
The game’s only cautionary yellow card was handed out to Mrigre’s Baljrang Sangma, in the 78th minute for a foul.

Ashugre Sports Youth Club vs Dilneng Sports Cultural Club
The second clash of the day was a high-scoring spectacle as Ashugre SYC dominated Dilneng Sports CC with an emphatic 8-2 victory. Ashugre SYC established early dominance, scoring four goals in the first half while Dilneng struggled to connect their passes.

The goalfest began when Mohandas Ch Sangma found the net in the 6th minute, followed quickly by a strike from Cherniko M Sangma, in the 16th minute. Mohandas struck again in the 23rd minute with his second goal, and Jagrang R Marak extended the lead to 4-0 in the 27th minute.
After the break, Dilneng Sports CC went into defensive but still struggled to convert chances. The second half belonged entirely to Mohandas of Ashugre, who completely dominated the pitch with his barrage of goals. He successfully converted every chance and took home four consecutive goals in the 51st, 53rd, 63rd, and 67th minutes to take his individual tally to an incredible six goals for the match.
Ashugre’s superb performance was also courtesy to the crucial support of their captain, Claybirth M. Sangma, playing in midfield, who provided some well-timed assists that pushed through Dilneng’s defense.

Dilneng Sports CC did eventually manage a breakthrough with Bentick Ch Momin scoring twice in the second half in the 57th and 77th minutes, bringing the final scoreline to 8-2.
Ashugre’s domination also came with a price, Chesrang Ch Marak and Jakrak M Sangma received the game’s only two cautionary yellow cards for a foul.
