Antim produced a commanding performance in the women’s 53kg category, winning three consecutive bouts to storm into the gold-medal contest. The Indian wrestler’s consistency and control on the mat helped her overcome her opponents and move within one victory of the Asian Games title.
She will now face Japan’s Moe Kiyooka in the final, setting up a crucial contest as Antim looks to convert her impressive run into gold for India.
Aman, meanwhile, displayed remarkable fighting spirit in the men’s freestyle 57kg category. Trailing by four points in his semifinal, the Indian wrestler mounted a strong comeback to turn the contest around and secure his place in the final.
Aman’s victory underlined his ability to handle pressure on the biggest stage, keeping India’s hopes of another wrestling gold alive. He will now have the opportunity to finish his campaign on top of the podium.
While the two finalists will fight for gold, Sagar Jaglan and Deepak Punia will look to secure bronze medals, giving India further opportunities to add to its wrestling tally.
