Tura, July 22: Kalkame Football Association and Dalu United emerged victorious in their respective First Division matches on Wednesday as the Tura Football League 2026-27 continued at the Government Boys’ Higher Secondary School (GBHSS) playground in Chandmary.
The day’s action produced nine goals across two entertaining fixtures.
Kalkame FA began the day with a hard-fought 2-1 victory over Doreng Sporting Club.

After a closely contested opening half, Helthone Marak broke the deadlock in the 36th minute to hand Kalkame the lead at the interval.
Doreng Sporting responded in the second half through Nikku Marak, who levelled the scores in the 62nd minute. However, Larsing Marak restored Kalkame’s advantage with the match-winning goal in the 79th minute.
The match also saw two yellow cards, with Doreng Sporting’s Simseng M. Marak booked in the 22nd minute before Kalkame’s Mythiush Marak was cautioned in the 42nd minute.
In the second fixture, Dalu United defeated Danakgre Youth Sports and Cultural Association (DYSCA) 4-2 after an impressive attacking display.

Dalu United’s Riknang R. Marak opened the scoring in the 17th minute before Dikki M. Marak (25’) doubled the advantage eight minutes later.
DYSCA reduced the deficit just before the break through Tokan Marak in the 40th minute, but Dalu United regained control in the second half.
Riknang completed his brace in the 54th minute, while Dikki also scored his second of the match in the 69th minute to make it 4-1. Benssil Marak pulled one back for DYSCA in the 80th minute, but it proved only a consolation.
Dikki M. Marak was the only player booked in the match, receiving a yellow card in the 60th minute.

The First Division action resumes on July 24, when Waram Dipogre take on Achapara Balmikka at the GBHSS playground in Chandmary.
